Following its premiere at the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in 2024, “Recall”, the latest psychological thriller from Kunle Afolayan, is set for a nationwide cinema release on April 4, 2025.

 

The film tells the gripping story of Anita, who loses the memory of the last ten years of her life including her husband and children while embarking on a desperate search for answers. With its intense narrative and emotional depth, “Recall” explores themes of identity, loss, and the complexities of human memory.

 

 

Produced and directed by Kunle Afolayan and backed by CinemaxNG, the film continues Afolayan’s tradition of delivering thought-provoking and visually compelling cinema.

 

With its AFRIFF debut setting the stage, “Recall” is expected to be a major release in Nollywood this year, drawing audiences eager for a suspenseful and emotionally charged experience.
