Nigerian and South African Film Industries Collaborate for Romantic Comedy “Soft Love”

Nemsia Studios, known for the acclaimed drama “Breath of Life”, returns with a new romantic comedy “Soft Love”, set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on Oct. 25, 2024.

The film follows a young woman who unexpectedly finds love after being abandoned by her fiancé on their wedding day six months ago.

“Soft Love” promises to reignite the spark of romance for audiences, as described by the production team.

The film brings together a talented cast from both the Nigerian and South African film industries, including Cindy Mahlangu, Efa Iwara, Rosemary Zimu, Dorcas Shola Fapson, Genoveva Umeh, Carol King, Sanda Shandu, Danny Ross, and Dalin Oliver.

Produced by Paballo Molingoane and directed by Holmes Awa, known for his work on “Slum King”, “Shanty Town”, and “Last Year Single”, “Soft Love” showcases the potential of cross-cultural collaboration in African cinema.
