Nemsia Studios has announced the release of its latest film, “Suky”, which will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on March 7, 2025.
Directed by Ola Cardoso and produced by Bamidele Adelusi, “Suky” delves into the brutal underground world of Dambe boxing.
The film features a strong ensemble cast, including James Damilare, Tobi Bakare, Olarotimi Fakunle, Femi Adebayo, Bimbo Ademoye, Ibrahim Yekini, and Boma Akpore.
The story follows a man whose life is upended by betrayal, pushing him into a desperate quest for vengeance. In prison, he discovers a high-stakes Dambe boxing competition where victory is his only path to freedom. As he fights his way through relentless opponents, he must also confront his past and the cost of his choices.
According to Cardoso, “Suky” is more than just an action film—it’s a story of survival and self-discovery. “This film isn’t just about the fight inside the ring; it’s about the fight within,” he said.
Following the success of “Breath of Life”, “With Difficulty Comes Ease”, and “Soft Love”, Nemsia Studios continues its streak of ambitious storytelling with “Suky”.
