Nollywood star Olumide Oworo leads the cast in the upcoming film “Voltage,” a gripping drama produced by Ngozi Ogbonna Nglabelle and directed by Fred Amata. Partnered with Daylight Group and CallMeNgLabelle Kontents Ltd., this highly anticipated film will premiere on June 30, with a nationwide cinema release on July 5.
The story centers around Tega, a young man burdened by his ailing mother’s wish for him to join the corrupt family business. Instead, Tega takes on the role of exposing the deep-rooted corruption in Nigeria’s power sector.
Following a tragic event in his neighborhood, Tega uncovers a web of deceit within his own family, leading him to confront powerful figures who control the energy sector. Enlisting the help of his friends, Tega finds himself targeted by a ruthless oil cartel.
