The film, co-produced by OldFilm Productions (Ghana), Sozo Films (Nigeria), and Gravel Road Studios (South Africa), highlights a collaboration between Ghanaian and Nigerian creatives.
Featuring a talented cast that includes Annabel Apara, Anita Asuoha (Warri Pikin), Ini Edo, Lasisi Elenu, and Chidi Mokeme, “One Night Guests” promises a blend of humor, heart, and cultural richness.
Shot entirely in Lagos, the story follows random encounters that lead to unexpected connections, offering a mix of laughter and introspection. Themes of privilege, identity, and the human need for connection unfold against the backdrop of the bustling city, adding depth to the festive storyline.
Speaking at a press event, Sedufia shared his enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing its unique fusion of Ghanaian and Nigerian storytelling. “Lagos provided the perfect energy and vibrancy for this story,” he said.
Sedufia, known for films like “Keteke” and “Sidechic Gang”, continues his tradition of crafting relatable narratives that resonate across borders. With “One Night Guests”, he aims to deliver a film that feels both entertaining and meaningful.
