“Raji and The Beast,” a new comedy-drama featuring Nollywood stars Uzor Arukwe and Lateef Adedimeji is set to hit cinemas on May 16, 2025.
Directed and produced by Darasen Richards, the plot follows Raji, a peasant and sand miner who earns a living from his high-risk low reward job.
When he discovers an old box while underwater mining for sand, he unearths a buried secret and that discovery alters everything in his life.

Other popular Nollywood actors in the film include Odunlade Adekola, Omowunmi Dada, Akin Lewis, and Femi Branch amongst others.
Exploring how a forgotten antique can wake the sleeping dog in the past, “Raji and the Beast” is shot by Sanjo Adegoke, and will be distributed nationwide by Cinemax Entertainment.
“Raji and The Beast” will be released nationwide on May 16, 2025.
