Son of Iron, directed by Tunde Olaoye and produced by Proscenium Media, will open in cinemas nationwide on November 14.

Set in contemporary Nigeria, the film centres on Kunle, a young man haunted by powerful dreams and recurring encounters with his late grandfather. As the visions intensify, Kunle confronts a spiritual force that forces him to face long-buried fears and to seek his true identity.

The cast includes Sola Sobowale, Tina Mba, Jide Kosoko, and Mr Macaroni, who carry the film’s generational and spiritual themes. The production blends elements of spiritual realism with a modern setting to examine how ancestral legacies influence present-day life.

Produced by Proscenium Media, Son of Iron continues a recent trend in Nigerian cinema toward stories that interweave folklore and contemporary concerns, using personal journeys to probe broader questions of identity and belief.

The film will be available in commercial cinemas across Nigeria from November 14.
