Kunle Remi stars in Netflix’s thrilling murder mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
“The Party” explores whodunnit mystery and family scandals
CEO Cinemax Nigeria and executive producer, Ope Ajayi is set to premiere a gripping new murder mystery series, “The Party,” on May 30, which will be available to watch on Netflix.
The three-part thriller follows the mysterious and dramatic death of a successful, newly married young man named Bobo (Kunle Remi), whose seemingly perfect life unravels into a web of secrets and scandals which happens after his unexpected demise. The viewers are promised a visual spectacle filled with unexpected twists and spiritual revelations as they attempt to identify the killer among a host of suspicious characters.
The series marks the first independent production for Ajayi, who previously worked on “Queen Lateefah.” Judith Audu serves as producer, with Stephen Okonkwo writing the screenplay and Yemi ‘Filmboy’ Morafa directing.
“The Party” boasts an impressive ensemble cast of Nollywood powerhouses alongside Remi, including Kehinde Bankole, Shaffy Bello, Bimbo Manuel, Femi Branch, Mide Martins, Ayo Ayoola, Uzor Arukwe, Kelechi Udegbe, Yomi Fash Lanso, and Segun Arinze.
While the series debuts on Netflix on May 30 for Nigerian audiences, it will also be available to diaspora viewers on a different platform, though details have not yet been announced.
