Nigerian filmmaker Umanu Elijah, known for his work on “Devil in Agbada”, returns with “Break of Dawn”, a thriller that dramatizes the dangerous games people play when desperation strikes.
Shot in Lagos in February 2024, the film follows Jade, the daughter of a rich politician who poses as a prostitute and steals from her clients. However, her scheme hits a perilous snag when she encounters a client seeking a girl for a money ritual to save his dying mother.
The cast includes Stan Nze, Kanayo O Kanayo, Efe Irele, Jidekene Achufusi, Mike Ezuruonye, Debby Felix, Segun Arinze, Moet Abebe, Craze Clown, Omini Aho, Emeka Golden, and Chioma Agwunobi. Produced by Ereyitomi Temisanren and Princess Adaeze M. Eme, “Break of Dawn” weaves a narrative of survival and cunning, culminating in a tense confrontation where only the smartest will emerge victorious.
