Born July 2, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, known professionally as Burna Boy, is a singer, songwriter, and record producer. He gained recognition in 2012 after releasing “Like to Party”, the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E (2013). His fifth studio album “Twice as Tall” won Best World Music Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. On July 11, he dropped his eighth studio album, “No Sign of Weakness.”

In 2006, he went in as one of an eventual 14 housemates on the first season of the popular reality show Big Brother Nigeria, finishing in eighth place. Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid,  born 16 July is a singer and songwriter from Lagos. He began recording music at the age of 11 and released a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed. He rose to limelight after releasing “Holla at Your Boy”, the lead single from his debut studio album, Superstar (2011), which also spawned the singles “Tease Me/Bad Guys” and “Don’t Dull.” In 2016, he achieved international recognition following his collaboration with Drake on the hit single “One Dance”, which reached number-one on the US Billboard Hot 100, the song broke multiple records, making Wizkid the first Afrobeats artist to appear in the Guinness World Records. In 2025, he released a documentary, “Wizkid: Long Live Lagos” which premiered at the Tribeca festival which will be available on HBO.
