“It’s Pleeeennnty!” What If Ola Of Lagos Covered Yhemolee’s Wedding?

If there’s one person who could transform a luxury event into a jaw-dropping spectacle of wealth appreciation, it’s Ola of Lagos. Think of him as the nation’s version of Supercarblondie.

Ola of Lagos

As the country’s top luxury enthusiast, imagine the electric atmosphere if he had graced nightlife influencer Yhemolee’s wedding to his longtime love, Oyindamola Thayour.

The guest list was a who’s who of Nigerian entertainment: Timi Dakolo, Broda Shaggy, Zlatan, Sydney Talker, Papaya Ex, Kiekie, Poco Lee, Chike, and Neo, to name a few.

Luxury wasn’t in short supply, as expected. Guests pulled up in exquisite dresses, expensive watches, and multimillionaire hot wheels, creating a scenery that rivaled the grandeur of Davido and Chioma’s wedding in June. Even Burna Boy—although absent—praised it, saying, “Nigerian weddings are so nice when done right!”

If Ola of Lagos had found himself in such a gathering, his reaction would have been classic. From his track record, we can easily picture him, eyes darting from one Richard Mille to the next Patek Philippe, his energy akin to a lion prowling a herd of zebras.

Of course, the crown jewel of the event would undoubtedly have been Zlatan’s matte olive-green Lamborghini Urus. Rumored to cost a cool $380,000—though the retail price starts somewhere around $200,000—the sports SUV would have certainly whetted Ola’s appetite. The man lives for moments like these.

You could also picture Ola standing at the entrance of the reception, ushering in guests with his famous “How much is your drip?” or patrolling the car park, sizing up the costs of the cars while dropping his unmistakable phrase, “It’s plenty.”

Ola of Lagos

These are mere speculations, of course. But one thing’s certain: Ola of Lagos would have been the hypeman the wedding didn’t know it needed. That is if he wasn’t already an invitee and chose to sit this one out for reasons only he knows.
