Nigerian music talent, Asake, has recently released the follow-up music video to his hit track, “Remember,” the eleventh track of his four-month-old second studio album, “Work of Art.”

The 3-minute and 28-second visual masterpiece, directed by the gifted duo Joshua Valle and Edgar Esteves of Blank Square Productions, made its debut on October 5, 2023.

Work of Art

In this artistic piece, Asake narrates a poignant tale of past affection and the eventual reawakening of emotions. The enchanting backdrop of the City of Love, Paris, perfectly complements this beautiful song. The music video takes the audience on a spellbinding journey, commencing in an orchestra, flowing through the Champs d’Elysss, beneath the Arc de Triomphe, and immersing in the romantic atmosphere of the city. All of this unfolds while Asake’s melodious tunes harmonize with the accompaniment of violins, saxophones, and the Amapiano beat.

“Remember” stands as the seventh official music video from Asake’s album “Work of Art,” a musical compilation that has garnered immense success since its release on June 15, 2023. Each track from the album has climbed high on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart. The Billboard World Albums Chart and Billboard 200 were not elusive either, with the album landing an impressive No. 4 and No. 66 spots, respectively.
