Bandana crooner steps out with ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’ on September 3

Asake has already had a very successful year thanks to Sungba, the TikTok viral Palazzo, and the recently released Peace Be Unto You.

Last week, the Bandana crooner announced that his debut studio album, titled Mr Money With The Vibe, will be released on Sept. 3.  This project comes as an official full-length follow-up to his self-titled blockbuster e.p. Ololade Asake.

The e.p. garnered millions of streams across all the streaming platforms and we’d be right to assume that the upcoming album will follow in its footsteps. Asake is undoubtedly one of the most exciting acts in the Nigerian afrobeats scene, currently.

Signed in February to Olamide’s YBNL Nation label, he has repeatedly put himself on everyone’s radar with his consistent hits. The man is here to stay.

This project is set to have 12 tracks and in addition to the announcement, Asake has released the third track, Terminator. The audio and video for this recent release seem to track with everything we already know about Asake: colourful and invigorating.

Although unreleased, the project is currently charting in over 20 different countries proving that the anticipation for this one is great. His fans have gone on social media to applaud him, but some critics have accused him of being too eager.

We are not too sure about that but whatever Asake is doing is working for him. The artist has not said a lot about his upcoming release, but he has shared the pre-save link on his social media. We can’t wait to see what he has for us.
