Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy has sold out the Stade de France, performing to 100,000 fans on Apr. 18, 2025, during his ongoing “I Told Them…” world tour. He is the first African artist to headline and fill the country’s largest stadium.

The Paris concert is one of many landmark stops on the tour, which has previously sold out venues like Madison Square Garden in New York and London Stadium.

To open the night, Fireboy DML and Nissi performed their joint track “Nobody” to an enthusiastic crowd. Burna Boy later brought out Shallipopi, Joé Dwèt Filé, Dadju, and UK rapper Dave for live renditions of their collaborative songs.

The show drew widespread praise from fans and critics, many of whom described it as another milestone for Afrobeats.

Burna Boy’s sold-out performance in France is being celebrated as a significant moment in the global expansion of African music.
