Davido Unveils the Tracklist for His Upcoming Fifth Studio Album “5ive”

Grammy-nominated artist Davido has revealed the tracklist for his upcoming fifth studio album, “5ive,” set to arrive on all streaming platforms on Apr. 18.

The 17-track project features major collaborations with Ngieran and international acts including Victoria Monet, Shenseea, 450, YG Marley, Musa Keys, Victony, Chris Brown, Becky G, Odumodublvck, Chike, Tay C, Omah Lay, and Dadju.

Ahead of the album’s release, Davido shared a trailer on Instagram, describing the album as a legacy. “Legacy is not what you leave behind, But what you breathe into the future. 72 hours away! Thank you for the love & support,” he captioned the post.

“5ive” is undoubtedly Davido’s most anticipated album yet because the last time he released an album was two years ago when “Timeless” (2023) broke streaming records and transcended national barriers to become one of the best Afrobeats albums of 2023.

To promote the new album, Davido has been on a worldwide press tour- making radio appearances, premiering snippets of the new songs on social media, and gracing magazine covers, including Rolling Stone. He has also held fan listening events in Los Angeles and New York City, with more events scheduled for Atlanta, Paris, and London.

So far, three singles from the album have been released: “Funds” featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, “Awake” featuring YG Marley, and “Be There Still.”
