American R&B singer Giveon is set to return to the spotlight with the release of his highly anticipated second album, “BELOVED,” slated for July 11, 2025.

The artist made the announcement on social media with a vulnerable post offering insight into his creative journey:

“I spent over a thousand days crafting this for you and for myself. Excited for you to see my growth—not only as an artist, but also as a man…”

The upcoming album is supported by two singles: the heart-wrenching ballad “TWENTIES,” released in February, and the emotionally rich “Rather Be,” which dropped in May.

Giveon is known for his velvety baritone voice and his signature exploration of themes like love and heartbreak, delivered over a soundscape that blends modern R&B with nostalgic elements of 1970s jazz.

The Grammy-nominated artist first gained widespread recognition through his collaboration with Drake on “Chicago Freestyle,” which peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. His breakout solo hit, “Heartbreak Anniversary,” released in 2020, resonated with millions around the world and climbed to No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is currently certified 6x Platinum by the RIAA.

While full details about “BELOVED” remain under wraps, if the released singles are any indication, fans can expect a deeply personal and sonically rich project that marks a new chapter in Giveon’s evolving artistry.
