Afrobeats singer Joeboy has announced his third studio album, “Viva Lavida”, set for release on March 28.
The announcement came via a 35-second video shared on social media, showing the artist moving through nature and urban landscapes before vibing to the beats.
The album follows Joeboy’s previous projects: “Love & Light” EP (2019), “Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic” (2021), and the two-part “Body & Soul”(2023).
His reputation as a skilled lyricist in the Afrobeats scene has fueled anticipation for his latest work.
Joeboy’s release will coincide with another major Afrobeats drop, as Ruger is set to release “Blownboy Ru”, a follow-up to his debut album, “Ru the World”, on the same day.
With both artists commanding strong fan bases, March 28 is shaping up to be a competitive day in the Afrobeats space.
