His single “Daisies” climbs to No. 1 on the Official UK Singles Chart, marking his eighth visit to the top.
Justin Bieber has returned to the top of the Official UK Singles Chart. His latest single, “Daisies,” jumps from No. 4 to No. 1 this week, earning the Canadian pop star his eighth chart-topping single in the United Kingdom.
With this milestone, Bieber joins the ranks of Sam Smith, The Rolling Stones, and Oasis—each now with eight UK No. 1 singles.
This also marks Bieber’s first solo No. 1 in nearly a decade. His last solo chart-topper, “Love Yourself,” was released in 2015 as part of his multi-platinum album “Purpose.” Since then, his most recent UK No. 1 came in 2020 with “I Don’t Care,” a duet with Ed Sheeran.
The success of “Daisies” feels both surprising and inevitable. Released with little fanfare as part of the surprise drop of his seventh studio album, “Swag,” the track quickly gained traction online. Despite minimal promotion, “Daisies” surged up streaming charts, resonating with fans and effectively becoming the album’s de facto lead single. Its organic rise highlights Bieber’s staying power and shows that artistes of his stature can bypass traditional marketing while still delivering a chart-dominating hit.
Two additional tracks from Swag also debuted on the UK chart this week: “Yukon” at No. 33 and “Go Baby” at No. 49, both gaining momentum through social media virality.
“Daisies” is also performing strongly worldwide. The single is currently No. 1 in Australia, No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100,, No. 4 on the Billboard Global 200, and No. 5 on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart.
