Nigerian hip-hop sensation Lil Kesh makes his long-awaited return to music with his third studio album, “Forever Getting It (FGI).” The “Shoki” crooner announced the project via his social media handles, sparking excitement among fans who have waited five years for the MC to take over the Nigerian music scene.
Released on Apr. 11, 2025, the seven-track album features collaborations with Nigerian stars like Fireboy DML, Ayomaff, Reekado Banks, and Monaky.
Lil Kesh first gained popularity in 2014 with the release of the street-hop anthem “Shoki,” which gained even more popularity with its remix with Davido and Olamide. The success of “Shoki” paved the way for other hit singles like “Efejoku,” “Gbese,” and “Is it Because I Love You.” Under the management of the YBNL label, he has released two albums—”YAGI” in 2016 and “Ecstasy” in 2020.
As fans dive into this new era of his music, it is clear that Lil Kesh is not just back—he is here to stay.
