Nigerian musician and SoundGod Music Group founder Runtown is gearing up for another music return with the release of his upcoming album, “SoundGod Fest IV,” slated for June 6, 2025. This marks the fourth installment in the “SoundGod Fest” franchise and Runtown’s first full-length project since “Signs” in 2022.
The announcement, made via his social media channels, has reignited excitement among fans eagerly awaiting new music from the genre-blending star.

Promotion for the album began as far back as December 2024 with the release of the single “Flow,” followed by “Do Me” in April 2025. The latter peaked at No. 20 on the Apple Music Nigeria Top Songs Chart and earned Runtown his biggest debut on Spotify Nigeria with 112,000 units sold.
As one of the most versatile artists in the Nigerian music industry, Runtown seamlessly fuses elements of pop, reggae, hip-hop, Afrobeats, and R&B, solidifying his reputation as Nigeria’s very own SoundGod. He gained prominence with hits like “Mad Over You,” “For Life,” and “Gallardo.” Far from being an accomplished singer, the Headies Award-nominee is also a prolific songwriter, having penned songs for other artists like Davido.
With “SoundGod Fest IV,” Runtown is poised to deliver a bold new chapter in his musical journey.
