Zinoleesky’s “Gen Z” Debut Album Enters Billboard World Albums Chart

The 16-track project continues to post strong numbers across global streaming platforms.

Zinoleesky’s debut album “Gen Z” has earned a spot on Billboard’s World Albums Chart, debuting at No. 9 just two weeks after release.

 

The album, which dropped on April 25, features collaborations with Naira Marley, Toosii, and Ms Banks. According to AlbumTalks on X., this marks Zinoleesky’s highest Billboard entry since “Grit & Lust” in 2022.

 

On Spotify Nigeria, “Gen Z” recorded 2.45 million streams on its first full day, the seventh-highest opening on the platform and the biggest ever for a debut Nigerian album. Within a week, it set a new record for the highest first-week streams for a debut album in Nigeria, reaching 8.9 million.

 

The album also ranked No. 7 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut Global chart, peaked at No. 2 on Apple Music Nigeria, and charted in 40 countries on Apple Music.

 

Zinoleesky now boasts 2.34 million monthly listeners on Spotify, the highest of his career so far.
