Imoh Umoren’s romantic drama Almost Perfect has made a solid entrance at the Nigerian box office, achieving a seven-figure debut week.
The film, which follows a young woman who leaves her small town to pursue her fashion dreams in Lagos—only to realize her greatest challenge lies within—opened on October 10 with a ₦6.9 million weekend gross, according to the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN).
Over the course of the week, Almost Perfect maintained steady daily earnings under ₦1 million, bringing its first-week total to ₦10.2 million (October 10–16). This performance placed the film at No. 4 on the Nigerian box office chart, trailing only Gingerrr, Tron: Ares, and One Battle After Another.
