Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has been confirmed as a participant at the 2026 edition of Global Citizen NOW, scheduled for May 14 in New York.
The summit, organised by Global Citizen, will hold at Spring Studios in Tribeca. It brings together leaders across government, business, entertainment, and advocacy to address global development challenges.
Ayra Starr joins a lineup that includes Hugh Jackman, Adam Lambert, Rachel Brosnahan, Common, and Kat Graham.
Political leaders expected to participate virtually include Pedro Sánchez, Paul Kagame, and Hakainde Hichilema.
According to organisers, the 2026 edition will focus on key areas such as education, food security, clean energy, and global health. The programme will also feature campaign announcements and presentations of the Global Citizen Prize and the Cisco Youth Leadership Award.
