According to the organizers, only films produced in Nigeria or by Nigerian filmmakers including those in the diaspora will be considered.

The 2025 BON Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place from November 29 to 30.

Founded in 2009, the BON Awards remains one of the longest-running recognitions dedicated solely to Nollywood. Last year’s edition honoured standout titles including “Jagun Jagun,” “Offshoot,” “Adire,” and “Out of Many.”
