Bruno Mars has announced a new solo album, The Romantic, marking his first solo project in ten years.
The Grammy-winning artiste revealed that the album will be released on February 27, 2026, with its lead single scheduled to arrive earlier on January 9.
The upcoming album follows 24K Magic (2016), which earned widespread acclaim and multiple Grammy Awards. In the years since, Mars has remained active through a series of high-profile collaborations rather than solo releases.
During the hiatus, he worked with artistes such as Lady Gaga, ROSÉ and Sexyy Red. In 2021, he also formed Silk Sonic with Anderson .Paak, releasing An Evening With Silk Sonic, a commercially successful and RIAA-Platinum album that further cemented his status as a global pop act.
In support of The Romantic, Mars will embark on a worldwide tour titled The Romantic Tour. The tour will span North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, running from April through October 2026.
Guest performers on the tour include Victoria Monét, Leon Thomas, RAYE, DJ Pee .Wee and Anderson .Paak, adding to anticipation for the album’s release.
