Afrobeats singer Burna Boy premiered the trailer for his upcoming Nollywood project, “Three Cold Dishes,” during his concert at the 80,000-capacity Stade de France in Paris on April 19.

If released, the film will mark Burna Boy’s debut as a Nollywood producer under Spaceship Films, a company he co-founded with his mother and manager, Bose Ogulu. The project is led by producer Big Black Mac in collaboration with Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network.

Directed by Asurf Oluseyi, “Three Cold Dishes” follows three teenage victims of sex trafficking who reunite thirteen years later to seek revenge on their abusers. The film stars Wale Ojo and Osas Ighodaro and is written by Tomi Adesina. It is set across Nigeria, the Republic of Benin, and Côte d’Ivoire.

Reacting to the trailer’s premiere at the Paris concert, Oluseyi described the crowd’s response as a strong sign of interest in the film. “Then we showed a few friends and their reactions said it all. The streets aren’t ready for this one,” he said.

No official release date or premiere details have been announced yet. “Three Cold Dishes” is one of several upcoming projects from Big Black Mac, including “The Devil Inside,” “The Three Rascals,” “Apophenia,” “The Great Transporter,” and “The Cage.”
