Burna Boy’s “No Sign of Weakness” Opens with 8.4M Streams
Grammy-winning Nigerian artiste Burna Boy has earned 8.4 million streams on the first day of release for his seventh studio album, “No Sign of Weakness,” on Spotify Global.
The figure marks his second-highest global debut after “I Told Them…,” which opened with 9.3 million streams. It also ranks sixth among the biggest first-day streams for any Nigerian album on the platform.
Among the most-streamed tracks from the album are “Dem Dey,” “No Panic,” “Update,” and “Sweet Love.”
On Spotify Nigeria, “No Sign of Weakness” recorded five million streams on its first day, placing fourth on the list of top Nigerian debut-day streams.
The album is also charting in 105 countries on Apple Music and holds the No. 1 spot in 11 of them, including Tajikistan, Dominica, and Cameroon. In the United States, it debuted at No. 8, just behind Burna Boy’s “Twice as Tall,” which peaked at No. 7.
