Chris Evans, American Actor famously known for his portrayal of Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films, is set to reprise his role as Steve Rogers in Avengers: Doomsday, set for 2026 release.
This was recently confirmed following a clip of four Doomsday teasers scheduled to play ahead of Avatar: Fire and Ash. The short teaser showed Steve arriving back at home, even holding a child in his arms, and looking over his Captain America suit.
Following Evans’ return as Steve Rogers, it is speculated that the second Doomsday teaser will focus on the return of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, with the third showing Robert Downey Jr.’s debut as Doctor Doom.

The final teaser is expected to be more broad, featuring more team members instead of focusing on one person. However, it is not confirmed whether Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, or Jeremy Renner will appear in Avengers: Doomsday, and it remains uncertain.
Avengers: Doomsday, originally slated to debut in March before its postponement, is currently scheduled for release on December 18, 2026.
