Fans of the hit Africa Magic television series “Before 30” have reason to celebrate as the original cast—Damilola Adegbite, Anee Icha, Meg Otanwa, and Beverly Naya—reunite in the newly released trailer for “After 30.” The highly anticipated sequel film picks up the story of four dynamic Nigerian women navigating friendship, career, and love—only this time, in their thirties.

Set to premiere at the 2025 Nollywood Week Film Festival, “After 30” promises to delve deeper into the evolving challenges and triumphs of its leading women, blending heartfelt storytelling with the relatable struggles of modern womanhood. Their once tight-knit friendship will be tested by life and love, and how they are able to preserve their bond will be explored greatly in the film.

“Before 30” was a national success in 2015, exceeding critics’ expectations and catapulting Adegbite, Icha, Otanwa, and Naya to national fame. Set in Lagos, Nigeria, the series explored the lives of four best friends navigating their twenties in a society that constantly pressured them to conform to norms—such as marrying before the age of thirty.
