Dave and Tems’ 2025 collaboration, “Raindance,” has officially reached No. 1 on the UK Official Singles Chart.
On the chart dated January 23 to January 29, 2026, the hip-hop and R&B single rebounded from No. 3 to claim the top spot, displacing last week’s leader, Djo’s “End of the Beginning,” which fell to No. 2.
With 13 weeks on the chart, all of which have been spent within the top 40 thanks to strong streaming numbers, downloads, and consistent radio airplay, “Raindance” becomes Dave’s fourth No. 1 single in the UK. It follows his previous chart-toppers “Sprinter” with Central Cee, “Starlight,” and “Funky Friday” with Fredo.
This latest achievement places Dave firmly in the history books as the UK rapper with the most No. 1 singles this decade. He also holds the record for the most UK No. 1 singles as a lead artiste within the genre.
For Tems, “Raindance” marks her first time at the very top of the UK singles chart. While this is her debut No. 1, it is not her first taste of success in the region. In December 2025, singles like “First” and “Big Daddy” previously charted within the UK Official Afrobeats Chart top ten, further cementing her growing global reach.
“Raindance,” the fifth track from Dave’s third studio album The Boy Who Played the Harp, has enjoyed sustained popularity since its release, driven largely by social media virality. The song’s accompanying music video further fuelled its momentum, sparking unexpected dating rumours between Dave and Tems due to their undeniable on-screen chemistry.
