The upcoming celebrity reality game show is still under wraps but promises raw, unscripted drama.
Director Moshood Abiola Teases “The Godfather” Featuring Seun Kuti
Nollywood director Moshood Abiola, known for his AMVCA-nominated film “Agemo,” is preparing to launch a new reality show titled “The Godfather,” with Nigerian singer Seun Kuti as one of its lead cast members.
Billed as a celebrity game show, “The Godfather” will also feature media personalities including host and actress Moet Abebe, chef and Seun Kuti’s wife Yetunde Kuti, television presenter Denrele Edun, and actress Nwaokolo Adaeze.
Abiola announced the project on July 28, describing it as an unconventional addition to the entertainment landscape.
“The Godfather: the show they can’t run from. They’ve faced cameras, critics, and controversy but they’ve never faced this. No script. No PR filters. Just raw truths, messy pasts, and the questions they pray never come up. And the invites? Let’s just say no one dares say ‘no’ to The Godfather,” he wrote.
Following the success of “Agemo,” Abiola promises an unpredictable and unique format for this new celebrity-led production. Full details about the show’s concept and format are yet to be disclosed.
