The Eastern Nigeria International Film Festival (ENIFF) is set to return for its sixth edition, championing creativity and celebrating visionary filmmakers from across the region and beyond from November 26-29, 2025.
Guided by the theme “Rethink, Reimagine, Reframe,” the 2025 festival will present a diverse array of content spanning documentaries, narrative features, and animations, creating opportunities for both seasoned professionals and emerging talents.
This year, ENIFF unveils two bold additions: an AI film category that delves into how artificial intelligence is reshaping creative possibilities in cinema, and a new Micro-Cinema showcase that highlights the power of short-form digital storytelling across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Selected industry professionals will lead an extensive program of masterclasses and workshops focusing on cutting-edge topics including AI storytelling, smartphone filmmaking, investigative journalism techniques, documentary production, and screenwriting.
Organised by the Eastern Nigeria Film and Arts Initiative (ENFAI), the festival promises an immersive experience fostering bold storytelling, innovative filmmaking approaches, and cross-cultural collaboration.
Submissions are currently open for the festival through FilmFreeway.
