HBO has released the first look at the popular youth drama series Euphoria, confirming it will return in April 2026, although the exact premiere date has not yet been announced. Production wrapped in Los Angeles in November 2025.
The upcoming eight-episode season will see Zendaya reprise her role as Rue Bennett, joined by Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Sydney Sweeney, Eric Dane, and Maude Apatow. Colman Domingo returns as a guest star, while Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry have been promoted to series regulars alongside Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Toby Wallace.

Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Dominic Fike, Melvin Bonez Estes, Nika King, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Zak Steine will return, while Sharon Stone is set to make a special appearance.
Notably, Barbie Ferreira, who portrayed Kat Hernandez, will not return following her departure due to creative differences. Storm Reid, who played Rue’s younger sister Gia, is also absent, while Angus Cloud, beloved for his role as Fezco, tragically passed away in 2023.

New additions to the cast include Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, and Anna Van Patten in guest roles. HBO also announced the arrival of 18 more actors, including Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Natasha Lyonne, Rebecca Pidgeon, Sam Trammell, and Trisha Paytas.
The final season, created by Sam Levinson and produced by A24, will feature a time jump taking the characters beyond their high school years. Levinson continues as writer, director, and executive producer, joined by Kevin Turen, Ravi Nandan, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, Zendaya, Will Greenfield, Ashley Levinson, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, and Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein.
