Renowned Nigerian filmmaker Femi Odugbemi has been selected as one of the judges for the 2025 International Emmy Awards.
As a judge, Odugbemi’s juror role contributes to the awards’ goal to celebrate outstanding talents in the global television industry this year on September 14, 2025.
Odugbemi, who produced “The Man Died,” recently disclosed this via a X (formerly Twitter) post, noting that he served as a juror for the first phase of the award process.
“Honored to serve once again as a juror for the 1st phase of the 2025 International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences,” he wrote.

The founder and executive producer of Zuri24 Media, said his experience from the judging process continues to expose him to diverse creative works and talents from across the world.
“It’s my 5th time judging, and every round is a masterclass in global storytelling. Always inspired by the incredible talent shaping television globally,” he added.
This is another reminder that Odugbemi is not new to being a judge on film and television awards both locally and internationally.
Aside from Emmys, he was head judge on awards like the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), Uganda Film Festival Awards among others.
