Fireboy DML Announces Self-Titled Fourth Album

Afrobeats sensation Fireboy DML is set to release his fourth studio album, “adedamola,” on Aug. 29, 2024, under the YBNL record label.
The singer, whose real name is Adedamola Oyinlola Adefolahan, announced the album release by sharing its cover art on his social media platforms. The self-titled album draws its name from the artist’s first name.
Fireboy DML has been hinting at a new album since February, building anticipation among fans. While an official tracklist remains undisclosed, the album may include recently released singles such as the pop-soul track “oba sima” and the Afropop hit “Everyday.”
The Nigerian artist first rose to prominence in 2019 with his debut album “Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps,” which produced hits like “Jealous” and “Vibration.” His subsequent albums, “APOLLO” and “Playboy,” further cemented his status in the Nigerian music scene, with tracks like “Peru” and “Bandana” gaining widespread popularity.
