Produced by Charterhouse Productions and sponsored by telecom company Vodafone, the Ghana Music Awards over its quarter-century history has become a showcase for the diversity and vibrancy of Ghana’s contemporary music landscape. The event also provides a platform for established stars and emerging talents alike.
Artists releasing music across genres including gospel, hip-hop, afropop, highlife, reggae and more are invited to enter works. Categories span technical and performance fields, with honors like Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Artist of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and more up for grabs.

Past winners of the coveted Artist of the Year award include regional and global sensations like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Mr. Eazi. Reigning 2023 winner Black Sherif will help hand the baton to 2024’s crop of breakthrough talents.
