Now, in its post-production phase, the third season of the Game of Thrones spin-off is set to premiere in 2026.
House of the Dragon season 3, built around the Game of Thrones universe, has officially wrapped production as it begins post-production.
The series is part of the two Westeros projects earlier confirmed by HBO Chairman, Casey Bloys, alongside A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms featuring Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell.

House of the Dragon season 3, created by Ryan Condal and George RR Martin, features performances from Annie Shapero, Dan Fogler, Tommy Flanagan, James Norton, Steve Toussaint and Sonoya Mizuno.
The series also stars Fabien Frankel, Harry Collett, Tom-Glynn Carney, Ewan Mitchell, Phia Saban, Bethany Antonia, Pheobe Campbell, Matthew Needham, and Jefferson Hall.

Based on George RR Martin’s Fire and Blood, the series depicts the struggle between Rhaenyra Targaryen and her half-brother Aegon Targaryen II for the Iron Throne of Westeros, centred on a war of succession.
House of the Dragon Season 3 will debut in June 2026 with eight episodes and will begin with the Battle of the Gullet.
