Nollywood actress and producer Iyabo Ojo has unveiled the ensemble cast for her upcoming feature film, The Return of Arinzo, confirming a mix of Nigerian and Tanzanian actors.
The cast reveal was shared via Ojo’s production company, Fespris Production, alongside images of the actors attached to the project. The film is currently in production and is expected to debut in 2026.
Nigerian actors confirmed for the sequel include Abayomi Olukanmi, Funky Mallam, Anthony Nwahiri, Muka Ray, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Yinka Quadri and Bimbo Akintola. Tanzanian cast members include Juma Jux, Prisca Lyimo, Patrick Kanumba and Zuhura Othman.
The Return of Arinzo is a sequel to Ojo’s 2012 film Arinzo, which was shot across Nigeria and Ghana. The new installment expands the story through cross-border collaboration and a broader cast.
Ojo, Quadri and Akintola are returning to the franchise after appearing in the original film. While Ojo reprises the titular role, it remains unclear whether Quadri and Akintola will return in the same capacities as their previous characters.
The project follows Ojo’s 2025 production Labake Olododo and marks her continued involvement in feature-length filmmaking as a producer.
