James Amuta’s “Black Harvest” To Premiere in Toronto

The Nollywood film navigates a sinister plot with unexpected character turns and plot twists.

After months of speculation, James Amuta’s neo-noir film “Black Harvest” finally gets its time to shine at one of the biggest film festivals in the world. The Nollywood producer and director made it exclusively known that the film will be screening at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Bell Lightbox in Toronto, Canada on Sept.13.

 

Per Amuta’s description, Black Harvest “takes you into the underworld of illegal organ trafficking and transplant tourism, as it navigates a sinister plot with unexpected character turns and plot twists.”

 

Amuta and Amaka Samuel-Okon serve as the film’s producers. An ensemble cast in the persons of Zack Orji, Elvina Baby Ibru, Kelechi Udegbe, Nansy MrsHustle, Tope Olowoniyan, Greg “Teddy Bear” Ojefua, and Lavinna Vermaa hold the fort for this film that is bound to intrigue audiences.
