The Emmy-winning actor stars as the rock legend in “Deliver Me from Nowhere,” a 20th Century Studios film set for October 2025.
Jeremy Allen White is set to portray American rock legend Bruce Springsteen in the upcoming musical biographical drama, “Deliver Me from Nowhere.”
The film, scheduled for theatrical release on October 24, 2025, will chronicle the making of Springsteen’s sixth studio album, “Nebraska,” widely regarded as one of his most personal and acclaimed works.
As the musician navigates the emotional weight of fame, the story explores the personal demons and creative urgency that shaped the album.

White, best known for his Emmy-winning role in “The Bear,” leads an ensemble cast that includes Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, Gaby Hoffmann, Marc Maron, David Krumholtz, and Stephen Graham.
“Deliver Me from Nowhere” is written, directed, and produced by Jeff Bridges, the filmmaker behind “Crazy Heart.” He is joined by producers Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Eric Robinson, and Scott Stuber, with distribution by Disney’s 20th Century Studios.
Springsteen and his longtime manager, Jon Landau, who will be portrayed in the film by Jeremy Strong—. are directly involved in the production and have given their full support to the biopic.

The film is based on the 2023 book “Deliver Me from Nowhere” by musician and writer Warren Zanes, which chronicles the creative process behind the “Nebraska” album and its broader cultural impact.
“Deliver Me from Nowhere” joins a growing list of musical biopics in recent years, following films like “Bohemian Rhapsody” (2018), “Elvis” (2022), and “A Complete Unknown” (2024). Rami Malek won an Oscar for playing Freddie Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody,” while Austin Butler and Timothée Chalamet earned nominations for their portrayals of Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan, respectively.
Meanwhile, White returns to television next week as “The Bear” enters its fourth season on FX.
