The multidisciplinary festival will feature 19 productions and a creative marketplace showcasing bold voices and hybrid identities.
The Lagos Fringe Festival 2025 will transform Lagos into a cultural playground from November 18-23, celebrating bold stories, fresh voices, and hybrid identities under this year’s theme, “Hybrid Identities: Merging Boundaries,” at Freedom Park.
Curated by Paw Studios Africa, the open-access multidisciplinary arts festival will showcase 19 selected productions across theatre, dance, and ensemble art.
Featured works include Therapy by Tosin Adeyemi, Once Upon an Elephant by Dapo Bruce, Gbeborun by Uche Enechukwu, In a City Near a Forest by Ben Elliott, and Dear Applicant by Ibi Kontein.
Beyond stage performances, the programme spans music concerts, film screenings, visual art exhibitions, workshops, masterclasses, spoken word sessions, and comedy shows. A creative marketplace will give artists, entrepreneurs, and brands the chance to showcase and sell handmade goods, alternative fashion, books, art, and food.
Since its inception eight years ago, Lagos Fringe has screened more than 150 films, staged over 250 productions, and drawn upwards of 30,000 attendees. This year also features an educational section, including the Young Critics and Reviewers Program, aimed at nurturing the next generation of arts commentators and cultural analysts.
Tickets for the festival are currently on sale.
