The opera stage production which explores the conflict between human nature will run twice a day from October 18-19 in Lagos.
Lateef Adedimeji, Omawunmi Dada to Feature “The Gods Have Spoken”
The Gods Have Spoken, an opera production is set to premiere on October 18-19 at Terra Kulture in Lagos.
Directed by Muyideen Oladapo, popularly known as Lala, and written by Taye Adeola, the stage play explores the conflict between human choices and divine will.
Produced by Act2Creative Media, the play features an ensemble cast including Lateef Adedimeji, Omowunmi Dada, Adebola Adeyela (Lizzy Jay), Femi Branch, Lanre Adediwura, and Kent Edunjobi. ID Cabasa (Ogunade Olumide) serves as music director, while Oladapo Olumide serves as producer.
According to the organizers, the opera play promises an experience where the music becomes a living force, which will guiding the story’s twists and turns in a way that leaves audiences breathless. The production guarantees no dull moments as it takes audiences on an emotional journey told through powerful performances and soul-stirring music.
The production will run at Terra Kulture located on Tiamiyu Savage Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19, 2025. Two shows will be held daily, with showtimes at 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
