Burna Boy becomes the only Nigerian artiste with two albums to reach the milestone.
“Love, Damini” Surpasses 1 Billion Streams on YouTube Music
Burna Boy’s “Love, Damini” has officially crossed 1 billion streams on YouTube Music, making it his second album to achieve the milestone after “African Giant.”
This places Burna Boy among a small group of Nigerian artistes with billion-stream albums on the platform. Others include Rema, whose “Rave & Roses (Ultra)” leads with 3 billion streams, and Davido, whose “A Good Time” has crossed 1 billion.
Notably, Burna Boy is now the only Nigerian artiste with two albums above the 1 billion mark on YouTube Music.

The achievement comes just as “Love, Damini” marks its third anniversary. Released on July 8, 2022, the 19-track project has also accumulated over 1.4 billion streams on Spotify. It is certified Gold in six countries, including the UK, France, Canada, Sweden, New Zealand, and the Netherlands.
The album’s lead single, “Last Last,” remains its top-performing track, accounting for more than half a billion streams across platforms.
