Nigerian breakout act, Mavo (real name: Oseremen Marvin) has officially surpassed 100 million streams across all credits on Spotify.
The milestone underscores a staggering leap for the 22-year-old Bini native, who had “just” four million streams to his name at the same time a year ago.
Today, Mavo boasts over 2.6 million monthly listeners, with standout records such as his 2025 breakout Escaladizzy and its remix leading the charge with a combined 25 million streams. His follow-up single Shakabulizzy and its remix add another 16 million. Both songs featured on his recent Kilometer II album.
Meanwhile, his 2023 single Tumo Weto has turned into a sleeper hit, now sitting at 7.2 million streams and recently climbing to No. 9 on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs chart as of November 11.
Adding to his momentum is Mavo’s feature on CKay’s BODY (danz). The track has dominated the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs chart for nine consecutive days, racking up over 6.3 million streams so far.
From a modest streaming presence to a triple-digit milestone in just a year, Mavo’s rise captures the ongoing wave of Nigerian pop’s global reach.
