Monkeypaw Productions, the award-winning company founded by Jordan Peele, in partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival® (TIFF) and Universal Filmmakers Project, has announced a global film grant for filmmakers with a passion for horror stories. The grant, titled “NO DRAMA”, will award 50,000 USD to six selected applicants to produce their short horror films.

“NO DRAMA” will offer support for the filmmakers throughout their journey, helping them in areas they need to improve. Up to six filmmakers will be selected to each receive a grant to produce their submitted short scripts. This talent training experience will last for a year.

During the one-year talent experience, the selected participants will engage in workshops, working with Monkeypaw to enhance creativity and produce specific concepts.

The grant is open to anyone with a passion for horror stories and aims to discover and support diverse horror storytellers. Submissions are open until Feb.29, 2024. For more information and submission guidelines, click here
