“My Wife and My Mistress” returns to Lagos on June 8 for a fresh run at The Garden, Ikoyi.
Produced by QIB Productions and sponsored by First Bank, the interactive play gives the audience the power to influence how the story unfolds.
The comedy drama follows an ailing millionaire who must decide whether his wife or mistress will control his estate. However, rather than relying on a fixed script, the play invites the audience to shape that decision—making each show potentially different from the next.
Starring Eseosa Bernard and two other performers, the production blends traditional theatre with active audience participation, a format that drew a strong response during its previous run. According to the producers, the play’s popularity last year prompted its return, with two shows scheduled at different times on the day.
With unexpected twists and comedic tension, “My Wife and My Mistress” aims to provide an unpredictable and engaging experience for Lagos theatre-goers.
