The Nigerian Electronic Media Content Exhibition and Awards (NEMCEA) is preparing for its 2024 edition, an annual summit that convenes key players across Nigeria’s entertainment sector to chart a course for industry advancement.
Scheduled for Aug. 7-8 at The Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja, this year’s NEMCEA will gather media practitioners, content owners, distributors, agencies and other stakeholders through panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities.
The event has a mandate to elevate Nigeria’s broadcast media and overall entertainment landscape through collaboration and the exchange of forward-thinking ideas, according to organizers.
Last year’s summit featured presentations from influential global figures like Somnath Malakar, CEO of Zee Entertainment for Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as insights from renowned Nigerian media personality Maryam Apaokagi-Green, known as Taooma.
With a focus on driving innovation, NEMCEA 2024 aims to foster dialogue and develop practical solutions to propel growth in the rapidly evolving industry. Registration is currently open at their website.
The annual gathering provides a platform for industry leaders to unite and tackle challenges while exploring new opportunities across Nigeria’s diverse entertainment ecosystem spanning TV, film, music, digital media and more.
As one of the premier media and entertainment summits in Africa’s largest market, NEMCEA has become an essential event for sharing insights, making connections and shaping the future trajectory of the Nigerian industry.
