Netflix begins production on rom-com “Office Romance” starring Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein

Netflix has officially begun production on its upcoming romantic comedy, “Office Romance”, starring Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein. This marks Lopez’s third major scripted film for the platform, following The Mother and Atlas.
The film, written by Ted Lasso creators Goldstein and Joe Kelly, features Goldstein in a lead role alongside Lopez. Directed by Ol Parker (Mamma Mia!), “Office Romance” was first announced in September 2024.
The production is backed by Ryder Picture Company, with Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett as producers. Goldstein, Lopez, Kelly, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medina are also producing under Nuyorican Films.
As of now, Netflix has not confirmed a release date for Office Romance, but industry speculation suggests a 2026 debut.
