Dearest reader, “Bridgerton” is set to return for its fourth season, bringing another tale of love, scandal, and high society intrigue.
This time, the spotlight falls on Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, as he embarks on his own romantic journey.
The upcoming season adapts “An Offer from a Gentleman”, the third novel in Julia Quinn’s bestselling series. Taking inspiration from the classic Cinderella story, it follows Benedict’s relationship with Sophie Baek, a young woman forced into servitude under the formidable Lady Araminta Gun.
Their fateful encounter at a grand masquerade ball—hosted by Violet Bridgerton—sets the stage for an enchanting yet complicated love story. Yerin Ha, the newest addition to the “Bridgerton” cast, takes on the role of Sophie, bringing a fresh dynamic to the beloved series.
In the newly released first-look images, Netflix teases the chemistry between Benedict and Sophie as they steal a moment away from the watchful eyes of the ton.

Returning characters also make an appearance, including Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh), Penelope Bridgerton (Nicola Coughlan), Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel), Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie), Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), and Brimsley (Hugh Sachs).
Ha isn’t the only newcomer to high society. The Li family—portrayed by Katie Leung, Michelle Mao, and Isabella Wei—arrives in England, adding new layers of intrigue. Leung plays the calculating Lady Gun, determined to secure advantageous marriages for her daughters.
Filming for the new season began in September 2024, with production taking place across England. Jess Brownell continues as showrunner, alongside executive producers Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica, and Chris Van Dusen.
While Netflix has yet to announce an official release date, “Bridgerton” Season 4 is expected to premiere in 2026 with an eight-episode run.
As the series expands, it promises more romance, scandal, and societal drama, ensuring that the “Bridgerton” name remains at the center of London’s most tantalizing whispers.
