Nevana Productions has announced the cast for its upcoming musical stage play, The Bride, set to run on weekends from February 7 to March 1 in Lagos.
The four-member cast includes Sharon Adaeze as Onome, Justin Ben as Kachi, Theodora Omo as Nana and Ralph Okoro as Ladi, according to the production company.
Written and directed by Austine Onuoha in collaboration with Terra Kulture, the romantic musical will stage performances at Terra Kulture in Victoria Island. Shows are scheduled to run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on performance days.
The Bride centres on a wedding day that takes an unexpected turn when the groom disappears, leaving the bride to confront questions about love, trust and resilience. Through music and dialogue, the play explores themes of love, betrayal, longing and patience, using the events surrounding the ceremony to examine relationships and personal resolve.
The production is scheduled for all weekends in February; February 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22 and 28 with a final performance on March 1.
